Sitting at the end of the lake in Wayne, Maine, this house, built in 1826, is an excellent exampled of Early American Victorian. The entire house was gutted down to its skeleton. I designed and executed all new electrical, plumbing HVAC and dry wall throughout. There were many changes and small additions to make the house current and livable. Some of the original uses for some of the rooms have been changed. The 'bones' of this house were fabulous: granite foundation, trim and milwork, stair details, doors, windows and hardware were able to be used. While keeping with the old farmhouse feel, this house is now a beautiful, comfortable home.
