amela Hedden Design was founded in 1990, following graduation from the Syracuse University School of Architecture in 1986. She spent time in Florence, Italy at the Syracuse School of Architecture. She won a garden competition while there, and got to travel quite extensively She is heavily influenced by Italian and European design. Her passion for classical and timeless dwellings is evident in her unique style.
amela operated her own firm in Birmingham, Alabama from 1990 to 1999. She was responsible for designing every aspect of the houses, bookkeeping, site inspections, and everything else related to running a successful firm. The firm is now located in Wayne, Maine and Pamela is designing homes, renovations, and additions that can be viewed in her portfolio.
